Loving you

Loving you

A Poem by Suvada
"

I never had the time to grieve over my last love 2 years later, I decided to let my heart pour it out.

"

11/24/18

Loving you was unexplainable,

Loving you was terrifying,

Loving you was exciting,

Loving you was like a fairy tale that was too good to be true.

Meeting eye to eye, the world slowed down.

Its like it was me and you.

I wasn’t afraid to be myself,

I wasn’t afraid to love you.

You made me laugh,

The kind of laugh where I couldn’t stop.

The touch of your hands on mine

Was a touch I never forgot, its one that me feel at ease.

The sound of your voice,

Always brought a smile on my face.

They way you told me I love you,

Made me believe that maybe love does exist.

You looked at me,

Like I was the only girl in the world for you.

You looked at me with so much love, care, and worry.

Loving you was a fairy tale I wish, could of been true.

We thought of ourselves as Romeo and Juliet

But we both knew the world didn’t want us together.

So, we held onto each other for as long as we could.

We loved each other every second that we could

We cherished every moment we had with each other,

Worried that tomorrow will be the last day,

That I could call you mine.

Loving you was easy,

Loving you blossomed my heart,

Loving you made me believe in fairy tales,

Loving you also taught me that some fairy tales aren’t always there to stay.

Loving you made me grateful that I got to spend those moments with you.
