my houseA Poem by suvaanObservation of a party in my mid 30's
There's a party going on in my house,
A funky shindig of public sector souls, Shots, tunes, straws and voices ring out, Told the neighbours we'd be quiet as a mouse, Now Joe's made people a fish bowl, Shots, tunes, straws and a big blow out, Girl looks cool in an easy blouse, Now Sue's swiggin out of a blowhole, Shots, tunes, straws and great to hangout, The door swings open s**t it's my spouse, Now Kev's laughing I've lost all controls, Shots, tunes, straws; time to hideout.
