Empty Shadows

my shadow casted long and dark

long and lonely

like rain pelting on the windows as the sound

echoes

echoes

through the empty room.

empty.

empty? empty heart.

empty mind.

numb.

numb and I shiver, my teeth chatter and I shatter. I break and I crumble. I fall to the ground that once held me so dearly, the ground that once held my shadow, now nothing but dead, empty space.
