Poem For More Screen Time !

written when I was very young!

So this is what basically happened,

I didn’t know what to write about,

So I’ve decided to write a poem saying

That I have nothing to write or act out.

I’m doing all this for more screen time,

It says I’ll get 30 minutes more,

So I’m trusting the paper, risking my life,

To get the prize I asked for.

I don’t know how long this should be,

So I’ll just keep writing and writing,

Until I feel very satisfied,

So I won’t start crying and dying.

Because I’m writing right now,

I might as well complain,

That I don’t like online learning,

Because it is such a pain.

Some teachers just worry too much,

Some just sit there, camera closed,

Some never stop talking about cats,

And how their hair smells like a rose.

But the thing that’s the most pain in the butt,

Is the timing of this online learning.

Since it’s almost the end, and you cannot pretend

That the summatives won’t come rolling.

In every single class

I really wanna hit the gas

And just flee.

Yeah, this is probably the end,

Of my complaints for this year.

I wish I get to see my friends one more time

And hear all of them cheer.

This poem will come to a stop,

I almost used up one page,

Too much writing might get me a job,

And I don’t wanna go on stage.
