Do you still love me the same,
As the first day we met,
Do I still make your heart race,
Or are you filled with regret

Can we make it through this,
Questions and heartache,
Consume my whole soul,

The thought of you not being there..
When we both wake

Tears me apart,
We’ve always been strong,
But the way your ultimatum,

Hits my heart..
Feels so wrong

Your anger inside,
I cannot ease.
That much is clear,

But what you want from me..
I cannot guarantee

I see the good in you,
Your love, so pure,
But the anger consumes you,

Until you turn it into something..
Neither of us can ignore

Do you ever ask yourself,
What will become of our love,
If we repeat this endless cycle,

Of not agreeing with one another
..
What will our hearts be full of?
