A Different Love

Why am I scared your going to go?
Why do the seconds tick by so slow?
Why does my mind relentlessly punish me,
With these images I don't wish to see,

Sometimes it's hard to look past my emotions,
Just trying to go through the everyday motions,
Until I finally get to be with you,
Its what I'm always waiting to do

That I hate it when I let the littlest things get to me,
But you always help me get past the emotions that cloud my head,
And is always there to wipe away the tears that I shed

I love how you want to be there,
And how much you show your care,
I've always broke my own heart,
Loving those who are too torn apart

But with you, I feel like it's different,
Everything we say to each other is meant,
It runs deeper than any past experiences,
Because you know how to open my mind and all of my senses

It makes me love you more.
