People's Relationships

How can people let their emotion,
Create so much commotion,
And how can people say what is the cause,
When they can't even take a minute to pause,
To just sit down,
And wrap their heads around,
What their doing to each other,
Finding a way to hurt another,

I get tired of hearing about people's relationships,
When they just let whatever fly out their lips.

Its has a rhythm all its own, and the message, like you wanna smack someone upside the head, some people just live for the melodrama. Well said.

I just happened to read paulo's review and I tend to agree, unless you're stuck on rhyming, more emphatic would be big mouths or something to that effect.

Amen! I agree. I get tired of that too. I guess...people are just dysfunctional and a bit dilusional? Just a thought. I usually tactfully walk away when other bore me with their complaints about their relationships.

really like this- both in terms of the message conveyed and the rhythm & meter used; its beautiful. 1 suggestion- don't bother maintaining the rhyme for the last 2 lines- I think that would emphasise that you are really fed up with people behaving in that way.

You make some very valid points here and I often ponder on these same exact things. Why do people lash out so hard on the ones that they are supposed to love and than when there relationships crumble they blame everyone but themselves? I loved what you have expressed here , my thoughts are society don't think in the moments, and every action brings a reaction. People judge and hurt ,and that I know will never stop. It bad to be accused party and be railroaded ,and idk what pleasure they get from it. I always say don't ever just judge a book by its cover take time to read it. Most now a days say well I don't have time, ya know its sad I could understand someone were sick or had a disease,but just to say I don't have time is a bad excuse. If people made time the world be a better place. Sorry your poem moved me.
