Finding a Way

Thought I'd try to write about something different then I usually do

Some have it easy, some not,
Some have no worries, some have a lot,
Some people don't have much imagination, but are smart,
And some are creative and have a lot of heart

And some will feel like everything's a mistake,
While some are just trying to never forsake,
No matter how hard it sometimes get,
They learn how to pick themselves up bit by bit

And some try to hide,
Everything they're denied,
While others try to get attention,
With everything they mention

And some just want to disown,
Everything they've ever known,
While others try to hold on to everything they knew,
Losing their color, leaving them blue,

And some are just trying to learn how to cope,
With all they've lost, without losing their hope,
But I'm just trying to take it day by day,
Not worrying about what'll come my way

Good one! I've read some reviews criticizing the use of rhyme in poetry, but I like it. It's one of those things that works when it works and doesn't when it doesn't. You're very good at getting a complex idea across in a way that appears simple, but opens up all kinds of avenues of thought upon consideration. It's very good!
