I wish...I wish...

I wish...I wish...

A Poem by Sushravya (Vidhisha)

I wish....I wish.....

I wish, I wish,

The sun never rose that day;

That dawn, that mourn,

Drenched in tears of blood, I was,

As I laid on the bed of thorn.

Locked in the dungeons,

Lost in the darkness;

I wish, I wish the sun never rose that day.

As I unlock the casket now,

Those haunting memories slams me down

And the dark clouds left me lonely in the pouring rain

Without even my  shadow to walk down the lane.

Even as I walk during the day,

Engraved are those words on my soul that says,

I wish, I wish the sun never rose that day.

Through wet eyes, watched the rainbow touch the horizon;

With arms stretched wide, watched the birds fly.

Though being fragile, I stand strong,

As I hide behind the smiling clown

It yet echoes deep down,

I wish, I wish the sun never rose that day!

Sometimes, the beauty's always resided to "simplicity" so, yeah, simplistically, very evocative and eye-catching topic you've come up with. I get the vibes of "love" outta your latest poetry that somehow displaying that how even the love may cause to free-heart badly if it's not treated the exact way it should. You know, the love's such a vulnerable - a very pleasant as well - thing that works on some "marketing" facets: "Needs & Wants"...

.. love "Needs" hearts'. The hearts' "Want" love. But in b/w that, no one cares what exactly the spirit's looking to have for - The Peace! Yeah, the spirit needs and wants peace but it hardly gets even the satisfaction of things you do being lost in ecstasy - Lost in love...

... & in last, I guess, every one wishes: "I wish, the sun never rose that day".

Ah... what a beautiful & thought provoking poetry you pen'd up. You're even seemed quite thought yourself. Nice... great job!
