In search of someoneA Poem by Sushravya (Vidhisha)In search of someone Heart asking for a reason to pump, Lips asking for the last touch, Eyes desire to sparkle with love, Heart in search of someone.
That one, that someone, His eyes caste my image, His silence repeat my name, Kneeling down he says, “As diamond adorns the dark night, Your sapphire eyes, adorns your moonlight face; As you smile with your dainty lips, It spreads the advent of the spring in the air; At time of twilight as you amble across the field, The amber rays forms your aura, adding to it The breeze plays with your raven hair And the pixies twirl around you. Enfold in your arms, I lay enchanted by your alluring skin; As I reckon, I’ve been smitten by your beauty”. Arising from my sleep, hearing my heart beat I realised, And yet is my heart in search of someone.
Sitting on a bench, looking at distance, I see the nature unfolds its vista And my searching heart stops for a beat, To ask itself, “Do I need someone? That one, that someone, To tell how idyllic I am!”
