A BLACKOUT SUMMER DAY

A BLACKOUT SUMMER DAY

A Poem by sushobhan
"

NOTHING,..JUST ANOTHER WIERD NASTY SOMNIFEROUS SUMMER-DAY DESCRIPTION....

"

IT WAS A DAY WHICH SCUDDED AWAY,

CONSOLIDATED WITH THE GALES OF GLOOMY RAYS...['GLOOMY' DEPICTS DEJECTION]

THE SCORCHING SPHEROID PROSELYTIZED TO AN AXE,,['SPHEROID' SYMBOLIZES SUN]

THAT GARNERED MY IMPULSES TO RELAX.......

A CATALOGUE OF INSOLENT BREEZE 'MOTIONED'

WHICH PROCREATED MY CEASED EMOTIONS......

A DAY BACKED UP WITH ENRAGING AUSTERITY,,,

WAS TO PORTRAY MY SOPORIFIC POSTERITY.......

FLATTENING OUT MY SUCCUMBING SOUL ACROSS THE BAYS,

WAS LIKE A REVERIE FOR ME THAT DAY.....

THIS COVETOUS FANTASY CONVOKED MY STIMULATION,

BUT ADVERSITIES WON'T CALL THE PARADISE FOR STIPULATION....

THE DUSK GOT SUMONED WITH MEMORIES FUL OF DUST,,

AND MY SMOTHERED DAY GOT IT THE CORONET OF RUST.....

AND THERE FLEW AN IMAGE OF  'BOREALIS FROM PATAGONIA'

WHICH INFILTRATED MY NAUSEATING DAY WITH KATATONIA.....

JUST AKIN TO THE TALE OF 'FOX AND GRAPES'...

BEING HAGGARD BY NATURE, I THREW STONES TO LAKE....

I FIGURED WETHER THIS WAS 'MIDDLE AGES' FOR MY EUPHORIA,,,

AND THEN I GOT WHIPPED BY INSOMNIA.......

I really like this sushobhan, not crazy about the CAPS, I find them jarring, nor the parenthesis...I don't find it necessary to make that point in your poem. The sentiment shines through, good job!
