The Evil Doer...

The Evil Doer...

A Poem by sushi

There is a wave
swallowing the shore
slowly and gradually.

There is this wave,
growing taller, broader and stronger
destroying things on the way.

There is a city,
ruined by these water,
life(s) floating and sinking in waves.

There is this city,
struggling to make-up things,
try face brave the Evil Doer.

There is this wave
retreating back to its bay
carrying with it a heavy loot.

There at the shore
stands the heavy heart,
in memories of the stolen spirit.

Excellent portrayall of the devestation that recently rocked Japan.
I like it because it does not speak of the earths flexing as evil, like I have seen done by some people. Well worded throughout, especially in the last stanza where the human spirit connects itself to the destruction.
I like your style, in this poem and your others that I read.
