A search for the perfect gift

A search for the perfect gift

A Poem by sushi
"

"If you want to give something to other, give them your attention..."

"
I am in the gift shop
searching for the perfect gift
that my love deserves.

I am with the best jewellers
designing perfection
that seems unique like her.

I am at the florist
picking the beautiful flowers
blessed seeing her.

I am baking some Milano
for the special occasion
for the sweetest person on earth.

Feb 14 : Valentine Day.
There, I awaited on a bench of the station
for my fairy to step down;
for a glimpse of notice.

In the tide of people, flooding the train
I figured those straight hairs;
glittering with a flash of ray.
Her restless eyes did rest.

A hearty smile
dominating the silence between us (and in us)
said everything
that her deep blue eyes searched.

I am always in puzzled when I find poems such as this without a single review.
I guess its because the enormity of this site makes it easy to passby, and not notice..Things move fast here, and that sometimes, is not a good thing.

Your unique style shows in this poem well..
The poems title is well chosen, gives just enough hint to make the topic clear.
What I did notice, in this poem, and your others is your excellent ability to end .. I read this with gaining excitement, thinking how will she end it.
But you did with skill, and without letting me down, by needing more.
thank you
