The war by present in life

The war by present in life

A Poem by sushi

I have the whole to day to sleep

To smile all the way

and start for office at three.

Evening shift - fun indeed

But night shift - calm and tension freed.

No crowd, No sound,

Peacefully I work, with melody I need.

My clock joins both its hands

pleading me to go and keep up with commitments

I do realise the importance...

I can't run away now (from my duties)

but I can't let down the hope,

"You will pick the call some day..."

It's time,

The sun will rise

to melt the room's chillness,

to melt the darkness of night,

to melt the duties I bind to,

to set me free,

to let me hug my teddy tight and sleep

(Be with me atleast in these dreams.)
