Leaving HimA Poem by Susanna FFor my married friend whose wife is making his life a living hell - to his wife.
Sympathy, psych meds and wine, your drugs
Screams, guilt and fear, your weapons And you say you will leave him Because he needs beer to stand you. Go, return to your sick family Of abusers and users like you Tell the Facebook world every detail As you suicide on his pain medication. Pull that rafter from your eye, girl Nothing is ever your fault, is it? Maybe if you just once said "I'm sorry," You could begin to deserve him. © 2012 Susanna FAuthor's Note
