Alien HeartA Poem by Susanna F3/29/12It's so nice that you have befriended us In our time of need Given something beyond expectation And patience as well.
Too bad that we're so different Not everyone is sensitive To stress, yelling and criticism You're lucky you are not.
But please don't judge me When I stagger under burdens That you think are nothing heavy Not all of us are so resilient.
I expect no sympathy I know you too well now; How do I ask for understanding From such an alien heart? © 2012 Susanna FFeatured Review
