Summer DaysA Poem by Susanna FSoft, sweet, balmy summer days Rich with green and bright with gold Shaded leaves and sunny fields Gone for now the bitter cold. Stand with face up, arms outstretched Feel the heat within your bones Smell the blossoms, hear the songs Of feathered friends with dulcet tones. Wander through the wondrous way Wend through park or pleasure faire Dance through desert thunderstorms The energy is everywhere. Some wither in the heat waves Some prefer winter’s snow But I belong in summer © 2011 Susanna FAuthor's Note
