Butterfly

Butterfly

A Poem by Susanna F

Butterfly, fly from here

Flee from the net

Warm breezes await you

The day’s not gone yet.

Quickly you slip the snare

Eluding sure death

Into a clear blue sky

By a wing’s breadth.

To your lost garden go

Making all haste

Among the flowers hide

Sweet nectar you’ll taste.

You may be delicate,

Fragile and soft

But no hurt can reach you

When you soar aloft.

Butterfly, wary fly

Tomorrow you’ll be

Under no caging-glass

Fragile but free.

Very nice ode, Susanna.
The butterfly is very much like a flower itself yet a "faiery" flower, bringing messages of joy and good tidings. Magical, as it fairs well. ;D
