Someday

Someday

A Poem by Susanna F
"

"the meek shall inherit the earth"

"

Blackness all around

Indecision's fearful sound

No moon and no stars

In a room of iron bars.

Nowhere to confide

Love declared and love denied

Gasping in thin air

Looking for hope - none is there.

Like a stinging rain

Love is hurt and love is pain

Someday I'll be free

Of this deadly, tossing sea.

I'll travel all alone

Under sky and over stone

I will find my worth

Someday, on a different earth.
