Pain

Upon my parents' divorce, age 16.

Pain is seeing ones you love

Not loving each other

Pain is seeing people turn

Brother from his brother.

 

Pain is not knowing what will

Happen from now till noon

Pain is not knowing if you

Will see your loved ones soon.

 

Pain is knowing what you wish

You didn't understand

Pain is being far away

From your beloved homeland.

 

Pain is missing that someone

Who you're sure loves you, too

Pain is being forced to choose

When I have to leave you.

I just commented you dont worry it wont be ghastly long like the last. This got straight to it...."pain". Its simple. I can relate totally. The song that was shuffling through my head when I read this was " Pain" by Three Days Grace. Dunno if you heard it but...

gosh! it hurts! have written a poem on similar subject..not that my folks are divorced but have seen many friends go thru this pain.. but this poem almost got me crying.. very well knitted.. it was drenched in pain.....
