Take Me ~

Take Me ~

A Poem by Susan 🦋

Take Me!

Strong hands

softly caress along ...

surround in wanting embrace,

oh-MY!

Commands,

whisp'ring sighs ~ sweet love's song;

'pon every garment ... unlace;

let fly!

Our plans’

hot passions naught prolong.

Quick! Close the door,  just in case …

outcry!

And let me catch my breath after this wonderful offering. The structure is one thing, it does seem like it would be difficult but to read this and become one with the words, it all seems so effortless. Amazing poetry

Thank you Cassie! Glad it brought a smile to your face 😊
I was unaware of this poem and the form Robert created. Although I've done them in the past I find form very hard, and yet, I think it makes a poem more pleasing to look at.

This was done with care and I'm sure you meant every word of it. :)

Your poems are always of the utmost high caliber, Susan. Well done.

And an umbrella, where I am. :)
How did you create such rich abandon without abandoning a specific form, Susan? Apart from the passion you have created an extraordinary dance of letters and punctuation. Great writing. Bunny has always inspired.

Thank you John for reading and for this review! Much appreciated. :-)
As I mentioned, I'm not into "form" poetry, but the part I love is when someone writes according to a form, but that form really doesn't matter one bit becuz the meaning of the words shines far beyond it. That, to me, would be the point in writing to form & you've succeeded here. Your words convey a depth & power of feeling that transcends whatever you were doing technically! *smile* Fondly, Margie

I bet you would be wonderful at any "form" poetry :-) hint hint :-)
Steamy! Good job making something so lustful with such a strict organization. Sometimes the best poetry grows around a strict lattice work. A lot of people write freeform and don't realize the strength that comes with a well-defined form. You expressed a moment and captured it beautifully.
