Liar, liarA Poem by Annabel Lee
Liar liar, caught on fire,
Can't seem to tell the truth. Liar liar, situation dire, Sits in the confession booth. She lies when they ask her "How do you do?" She lies when they ask her "Have you been crying?" She lies when she says "thats not true!" She lies when she says "I'm not afraid of dying." She cries when they say "I love you", She cries because she can't say an answer. She cries when they say "You're fine how you are!" She cries because its like a cancer. She lies when she makes up her songs, She lies when she tries to cover up wrongs. She lies when she tells them that he was a mistake; She lies when she says she'll never be over heartbreak. She lies when she tells them she doesn't care about him, She lies when she sings her heart out on a whim. She tries to not say these lies, She tries and tries and tries. Because everytime the liar lies, A bit of her truth dies.
