Colon+L

A Poem by Annabel Lee

This is why we fight
Its because you wake me mid-night,
Amid my slumber,
in you lumber,
Having drank some wine.
I tried to shine,
Illuminate,
Even try to fumigate,
How good you truly are.
But then you show me the scar,
One of many I left you,
Trying to move on to,
Escaping your death grip.
Leaving on a ship.
Because all your misguidedness,
Has flared up my blindsidedness,
And once again I'm on my knees.
Crying please please please,
Just don't do this.
Even if I won't kiss.
