FrozenA Poem by Annabel Lee
Can the click of a lock change your life?
The simple motion of sealing yourself in, sealing the world out, and having no intention of ever emerging? The most elemantary of motions can also be the most extraordinary. Safety is elusive, and no one wants to be outside when the storm breaks. Basic instinct- can it be deadly? Can you put a spin on simple needs? The questions hang in the air like diamonds strung on a necklace. The mist of answers is impossible to find. Which is because, as I have found, long after the engine turns and the storm departs, the questions are set in stone, beautiful in their own right. © 2010 Annabel Lee |
