a concrete poem i wrote a couple of years ago.

Author's Note

the words to the poem are meant to be read down the fretboard. but in case it's hard to read, i'll include the poem here:

strumming the sound of my soul
piercing my very existence
i am closer to home
when the vibrato
of strings
reverberates
off my fingers

not as long as you might think -- i based the image off of my actual ukulele, so i had a good blueprint and just needed to fill in the lines with the words.
