Chapter Twenty Three

Chapter Twenty Three

A Chapter by Siren

After a lot of

crying, Mom told

us that Dad was

bipolar too.

He was good and

on his meds, so we

never could

tell.

For us, he

was always

up.

Mom said that

when he

died,

he was

down.

Very

very

down.

At first I

was angry.

How could

she never tell

us the

truth?!

“You were too

young, Kera.

And Karl…I

didn’t want to

send you

into a

low.”

When she said

that, it

shocked

me.  And I

was even

angrier.

“You knew?!”

I shouted

at the top

of

my

lungs.

And then

I went

off.
