Chapter Nineteen

Chapter Nineteen

A Chapter by Siren

“He’s bipolar.” I

blurt out

loudly

when I open

the door to

Mom’s room.

“Who?”

I shut

my mouth

and then say,

“The

angel-boy.”

She looks at me,

bewildered,

and then makes

a small

‘o’

with her

mouth.  She’s seen

the pictures

I draw

of my brother,

with a halo

around his head.

She knows that

I still call him

that.

She looks like

she’s going to

cry.

“Why would you

say something like

that, Kera?!”

She’s angry

now.

I run to my

room

and hide

under

the

bed.
