Chapter Nine

Chapter Nine

A Chapter by Siren

Karl always comes

into my room

whenever he wants

and it

bugs

me.

My mom doesn’t

make him do

much to make

him stay

out

either.

Today, he

comes in and

plops

on my bed.

“School sucks.”

I snicker.

As if he

had to tell

me.

The only thing

that makes

school worth going

to for him

is the

sports.

It’s pretty crazy

how he stays

in

shape

and is

so

good

but only cares

about

getting better.

You think

he’d be

satisfied

by now.

Karl has won

MVP

all three years

of high

school.

Everybody knows

he’ll get it

this year

too.

I wonder if

the

angel-boy

in there

is satisfied.
