Lily-pad Love

Lily-pad Love

A Poem by Siren
"

kind of like a ballad? who knows.

"
The faeries jump
from one to another,
playful and
light.

They powder the air
they lighten the
otherwise dreary
night.

Tiny and
firty,
Naughty and
fun.

A lily-pad
for every
one.

A male walks by
lost and
cold.

He's sheltered
by the trees,
old.

One walks up
daring and
brave.

He offers his
broken heart to
save.

She takes it to
heart and
cries.

He has compassion;
her tears he
dries.

They collapse together;
a lover's
embrace.

A lily-pad
for every
one.

True love as
two souls become
one.
