I feel the bones
underneath my skin
and wish to be
thin.

I feel the fat
around my middle
thinking I ate too much
again.

Reviews

Well, anything that covers the skeleton normally is added on. The inability to remove it is not only frustrating but takes one's liberty away. The wish to become closer to one's own bones is a wish expressed for someone to be himself again; to be free again.
