Hymn of Despair

Hymn of Despair

A Poem by Siren
"

a chant or lullaby of sorts, used with reverence

"
Oh, I pray
Ye Angels deliver me from
This dark and this despair,

Lift me u
Upon your wings and
Hear my fervent prayer,

Watch the dark
And cold shadows
For he is in his lair,

But rescue me
This tortured soul with
Such a cross to bear

Rhythm is good. SECTIONS... Prayer from dark, uplifting prayer, evil one, prayer with cross to bear. Middle... Up.. Down.. Middle. These sections work for you. It's too short for a lot of critique, but it's short and sweet, shall we say.

Advice is not needed, I don't think you should change it. I imagine the journey of the angels to you, your cross and the hope. I like it.
