Chuck It

Chuck It

"

A logic of wood-chucks and wages

"
Claude:  How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Greg:   Well, a woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
Claude:  Okay.  Now, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if Geico Gecko paid him to chuck wood?
Greg:   That's easy.  A woodchuck would chuck a ton, but a woodchuck will only chuck less than a ton because a ton of wood is more wood than a woodchuck should chuck.  So, a woodchuck won't chuck a ton but it will chuck a decent amount of wood.
Claude:  Naturally.  So, the real dilemma is if Geico Gecko would gladly give the working woodchuck his earned pay.
Greg:  Well that depends.  If a woodchuck chucked as much wood as a woodchuck could if a woodchuck could chuck wood it would have chucked as much wood as a woodchuck could and should chuck.  If woodchuck strains his physical limits liabilities would likely be charged unless Geico Gecko insures woodchuck.  If woodchuck chucks the wood that is in his limit, however, Geico Gecko would gladly give woodchuck his pay for chucking wood that a wood chuck should and would chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
