Author's Note

Siren
When I was writing this, I also was unsatisfied with the result. I wanted something longer, something with more grandeur. But as I revisited it this later on, I found that it easily served its purpose in its brevity. When you’re gasping for breath, you either regain it fairly soon or resign to your final exhale.
