A Hateful Plea

A Hateful Plea

A Poem by Siren

Late have I hated you
For much without cause
Yet no matter what You do
I always feel wronged
On my shoulders is such a weight
And the past gives me pause
For though much is my hate
It's for Your love that I've longed
So would you melt this stone
That I once called a heart?
For on my own
I can only fall apart.
