This Eternal Night

This Eternal Night

A Poem by Siren

Was I ever made for something good?

Something beyond the can and should?

Can I ever escape the bounds of this life?

Or am I forever stuck in a damned world’s strife?

I beg to be taken away from this life accursed

But nothing can satisfy my unquenchable thirst

For something better than all of this

For a touch of Healing, for Heaven’s kiss.

Maybe I am just wrong

And maybe I really do belong

But it’s not worth the fight

To get out of this eternal night.

This poem is penned well with good strength to the words of a moving nature. Nicely done.
