Nothing But Bone

Nothing But Bone

A Poem by Siren

There's something about you
I'm not sure what it is
But it hits me in the chest
Where my heart used to be

When you stole my breath
By caring that day
You drew blood from me
Where there was nothing but bone.

it came short and simple but within its simplicity holds a great meaning, kudos.

you truly have the soul of a poet, that is for sure. i love this in its entirety. the message is a perfect delivery and is not over burdened or encumbered by excess baggage or contradiction. this goes into my faves.... a place of honor.
