Fire and Ice

Writing at five in the morning is extremely surreal. 18th of March, 2013

I've gone through a thousand pens;

I have written and made a thousand amends

to the lovely piece about ice and fire

and the kingdom of rock and its tall tower spire.

The characters: two elemental families royal

whose relations have fallen to turmoil

because of the cowardly princess of ice,

the lonely lover who cries at night

for her sweetheart, the fire prince,

her literal flame since

before this time and she forgot

it, but she always remembers that he did not

                                                                  love her.
