Lamentation of a technological dissidentA Poem by kellyTechnology is a love-hate relationshipEnsnared in my tangled mass of wires technological confinement is withstood. By the time you get this message the rain will pour down as before beating against the window pane foiling my longed for escape. No here come delicate snowflakes lightly sugaring the barren hills with fine powder. Today, I plotted my exodus from a pursuing feeling that insists on following me to: each continent each country each city. Nagging, gnawing, imprisoning soul within body bashful and retreating creature that she is divinely enraptured she seeks comfort she can never find soothing balm for wounds never healed each time their scabs start to form they are torn asunder by fresh falls tumbles into life with the wrong companion while wishfully thinking that just once freedom could be hers.
