Thoughts of Descent

Thoughts of Descent

A Poem by kelly
"

short poem/prose that I would like to expand in time...

"

Flying high one seldom thinks of plummeting

headfirst to the ground.

Yet when the sweet kiss of sun

melts wings fashioned from wax and feathers

The inevitability of fate overtakes even the strongest of hearts.
