Why must ye be so cruel?

all you do is reject and deny

but alas i keep trying

trying to get you

to accept

time and time again

you reject me

not once have you said

yes 

or even hesitated before saying

no

why oh why must ye be so cruel?

in my time of despair

you inspire no hope nor love

just more rejections

only god know

how many times

I've tried

and only he can count the hours

why oh why must ye be so cruel?

all i  ever want is one simple word

yes

Okay, so here is a prime example of how a great poem can contain diverse meanings. You say, you wrote this as a love (rejection) poem, absolutely believable. You jest and say it was all due a visa rejection... LOL, It still works!

I have the feeling you will go far in your writing career, keep them coming.

No matter what life has in store for you wrtie about it... pain, hurt, heartbreak or happiness, it's all that makes our writing relatable.
