A Bestfriend

A Bestfriend

It was all just smiles
Now to be stretched across the miles
With so much love to give
Along with memories we can relive
Though until the end
You will be my best friend
But we'll go insane
Counting the days until we meet again
So, missy, you better not forget
Just who it was you met
All those laughs we shared
Because nothing can be compared
To the unforgettable moments
For just being a couple of students
Just doesn't quite cut it
We were almost a perfect fit
There is none that could possibly take your place
Simply there will only be empty space
Sitting there awaiting your return
Accompanied by looks of concern
I will miss you dearly
Like how clearly
There will be no dry eyes
As we say our good-byes
