A Black Rose

A Black Rose

"
And on this night,
Full of fright
A darkness awaits in this beauty,
But you cannot see
Petals black as night,
And not a thorn in sight
Deadly is this little treat,
With a scent so sweet
One little touch will be your last,
So you better make your words fast
Don't panic for it will be quick,
In just a flick
Your life will flash by,
Without time to ask why
Little did you know,
That you would be food for a crow

I like it. It reminds me of Poe.
