Children leave home
And find another
A home to make their own

 

Children leave home
to find escape
The abuse and horrors

Children leave home
Because they don't want
To smoke that dope

Children leave home
Since life is exciting
They want to fly high

Children stay home
Course life is cheap
Pay rent, a dollar a week

But other children are alone
To defend for themselves
As parents are unwell

Life gives everyone a challenge
A smell of hell or a slice of peace

Which ever way your life goes
Just remember, your not alone.
