skies of darkness
sprinkled with lights
such a treat
for my earthly nights
but i feel too close
to these many stars
want to collect
and keep in jars
they are hot to the touch
but i love it too much
you, my dear
are this special
passion so magical
surreal and celestial
let's fuse and glow
forever strong
and rise to the spaces
where we so belong
planet to planet
comet to comet
zip zooming through
in our decked out rocket
feeling so high
don't need no drug
no intravenous fluid
will flow through our blood
tell me that you're ready
to fly these heights
with wicked surroundings
we'll forever be alright
