How to Display Kids Artwork
When you're considering displaying your children's creations in the house, you need to keep in mind the following factors:
Use frames
The first and easiest option is to buy frames from the store. They have the advantage of being inexpensive and easy to change. Just like you can change your photos on the walls, you'll be able to change your kids' drawings. The good part about frames is that you can place them on any wall. A great idea is to place frames randomly on the surface. Or you can add a set of frames on every wall combining them according to themes. Furthermore, you can place two rows of five frames each close to each other on the wall.
Use carpet tiles
Stick carpet tiles on one of the walls using double-sided tape. Take your children's paintings and drawings and stick pieces of velcro on the back of each work. For those of you who don't know what velcro is, this is a fabric, usually made of polyester, nylon, cotton, stainless steel or another material, which is used as a fastener. Once you put velcro on the pieces of paper, they can be easily attached to the carpet tiles for everyone to see.
Use a string
Hang a string on your wall and fix it using nails. Attach your children's drawings and paintings with clothes pins. This will allow you to change the artwork whenever you want. Your kids will never get tired of seeing their creations on the wall, as they will be replaced with new every now and then. If your children are proud of their work, they will want to brag about it, so displaying it in different places of the house so it can be seen will make them really happy. If you have a playroom, this is the perfect spot for artwork display. When your kids get back home after school, they will be very excited to admire their creations.
Use shelves
If you have enough space on the walls and are looking for ways to freshen it a little bit, use your kids' creative ideas to fill in the blanks. Attach shelves of different lengths and widths to the walls. Paint them choosing a colour that fits that of the room. Put your children's stuff into frames and place them on the shelves. This is another great option, as it allows for the drawings to be replaced with new. It is also fancy and stylish. Your kids will adore it!
One last tip: After you are done with decorating, don't forget to find the best carpet cleaning solution and clean the mess. Ask your children to help you, after all, you are doing it for them. Get rid of all the clutter and clean every surface you used in the process. Your kids' artwork will be best displayed if the premises are all sparkly clean.
