What Are They Thinking?A Poem by Tuxedo MaskThis is'nt much of a poem, but this is how I feel that other people think. Please take this into consideration. Thank you.The way we think, how we act. We try to conform to what everyone else wants. We try to “belong”, change how we are. They call us “F*****s” and Homosexuals”. All we want is to live. We want to be able to walk down the sidewalk without someone yelling at us. They won’t leave us alone. They keep egging us on, calling us names and making fun of us. Laughing at us, making us feel like s**t. They take away our rights, take away our loved ones. Let us die alone just because their partner is another man. Social services take out children away, for they see us as “unfit” parents. They won’t even let us be married. We try to fight back, but we get nowhere… This has to end, this world of hatred. We are meant for love, and what they’re doing is taking that away. Love is about the person you fall in love with, not their gender. Think before you say something is “gay” or call someone a “f*g”. Think about how you act. Try to change this hateful world. I will humbly bow before the ones who support us. Thank you.
