Fighting with the Birth Womb

Fighting with the Birth Womb

A Poem by LadyShennel

I’m no match to the womb

That calls out with a strong bond

It carried you for 9 months

Its love reaches far and beyond

My heart ackes so bad

Because my battle seems to be lost

My love I thought was so strong

Because it came with a great cost

No matter what I do

Nothing can satisfy your need

Of wanting her back forever

Because it was her who concieved

Birth mothers carries a special bond

Which I can not bare

My only tight and eternal hold

Is my heart of love I share

I have put my life on hold

My time and love I give

To nurish, protect, and guide you

So your life can live

As I compete for your love

Trying to win over your heart

The happiness and love you long for

Seperates and keeps us apart

I’m struggling to be a mother

A fight between the womb and me

My heart is deeply wounded

Its no longer pain free
