A Poem by Grace Lea
"

About my soul redeemed

"

The canopy of heaven

Stretches farther than I can see

The mountains and the valleys

Sing our praise melody

Out of all the created

How can it be that

You my Father chose us

To be the most beautiful

I am a poor weak sinner

Yet You love me far more

Than any of your creations

And its You I adore

I close my eyes

As tears rush down my face

I lift my hands

And run into Your embrace

Pure joy, this day

I can declare something

Even the angels cannot say

I am redeemed

I was lost and so afraid

And then Your light came

To save a soul from

Myself and my shame

Watch the sun come through

The trees and sparkle on my face

It makes my eyes shine

With Amazing Grace
