Daydream

Daydream

A Poem by Grace Lea
"

Thoughts on a rainy day...

"

Music of beauty, and the gentle hiss of the rain.

Drops fall on my window, then fall away

My heart beats slowly, and my mind soars

To a world I've been to many times before

Its there in the mist and the silence

That I see you, you who has shown me innocence

The wind blows my hair and I see you smile

You've been waiting for me for quite awhile

You hold my hand and smooth my hair

I hold my breath as long as I dare

Your head rests softly against mine

And I suddenly I know its time

You back away, and I try to hold on

But you have left too soon

I startle awake

I'm back in my room.

I enjoyed the read. This was a great journey through your experience. You were able to open wide and let everyone in. Thanks I am glad I was one of them. I look forward to seeing you in the futur on WC.

"You back away, and I try hold on" I think there needs to be a "to" added to it. =D

Otherwise, great read! I love how simple it seems and how deep it goes and then BAM! You realize it was all a dream.
