My Own Dance

My Own Dance

A Poem by Grace Lea
"

My life right now

"

All the colors in your life have faded,

And you're crying

You want colors again

And the angels in the stars are singing,

Sing you, sweet child

Singing you to your sleep

And the dance that you wanted to learn

Is slowly ending

And you can't dance anymore

What I'm wanting is a second chance then,

Let these tears dry

Let me hold my head high

If a higher path is far beyond me,

Then I will climb it

And one day see His face

I'm just an 19 year old girl who loves her family and friends like anyone else. I love to laugh, but more than that I love to make other people laugh. Being outside under the sky is what inspires me.. more..
